ABOUT US

Forest Hills Memory Gardens is located on Lee Highway on the West end of Abingdon.  The cemetery was started in 1962 by Jack and Edith Harmon and is one of the largest Perpetual Care Cemeteries in Southwest Virginia.

In 1983, David and Barbara Farris purchased Forest Hills from the Harmon family and have currently developed 17 acres of the 75 acre facility.

Currently we have two Chapel Mausoleums that include niches for cremation urns. here are six ground burial sections where you may choose either a flat bronze memorial or a traditional upright granite monument.

Future plans include additional ground burial sections, a cremation garden, and additional mausoleums.  We also offer a full-line of outer burial containers and specialty products that can be added to help personalize your memorial.  In-house financing is available at low rates to help you. Since we are locally owned and operated we pay extra attention to detail.  Some examples are:

bullet

we "bag" our grass clippings so they do not get on your memorial

bullet

all of our roads are curbed

bullet

there are street lights on at night for extra security and convenience

We listen to YOU, the customer, not Wall Street or out-of-state regional offices. Contact Forest Hills for your family's cemetery and memorial needs.  We offer selection and service with the touch of a small town, family owned business.
